Your first experience at Dental Associates, PC is estimated to be 1 hour and 30 minutes. Reserving this time for you allows our team at Dental Associates the opportunity to get to the whole picture of your health and dental history, as well as your dental goals. Your first appointment will include paperwork, a series of dental images including x rays, which allow for proper accurate diagnosis, periodontal probing with documentation, oral cancer screening exam, visual examination, diagnostic and treatment recommendations with your dentist. If time allows, your dental hygienist will perform a professional dental cleaning.
Following the examination, your dentist will review any findings along with an explanation of your current oral health status.
We understand that paperwork can be exhausting. For your convenience, we have our new patient paperwork posted for each location. If you are unable to complete your paperwork prior to your appointment, we simply as for you to arrive 15-20 minutes early ensuring you have ample time to complete all forms prior to your scheduled appointment time.
If you have current x-rays or dental records from within the past 12 months and would like them transferred to our office prior to your initial visit, please complete the TRANSFER REQUEST FORM below or email to info@dm-dapc.com. We will be happy to assist you.
At Dental Associates South, we provide a range of family dentistry services. We believe preventive dental care is of utmost importance, so we work with you to help you care for your teeth and prevent any substantial dental work. However, our team can also offer reconstructive work when necessary. This includes same-day dental crowns and other fillings when appropriate. However, as mentioned above, our aim is to help you prevent work like dental crowns.
