I called for an emergency appt this morning due to a broken tooth and was gotten in promptly. Professional and friendly dental care as always. I really like this team. I would add that masks are required and the patient is responsible for bringing their own which is how it should be in my opinion.

During an oral cancer screening, with gloved hands, your dentist looks over the inside of your mouth checking for red or white patches and sores. They will also feel the tissues in your mouth to check for lumps or other abnormalities. They may also examine your throat and neck for lumps.

People with a high risk of oral cancer may benefit from oral cancer screenings.Factors that may increase the risk of oral cancer are not limited to:

Tobacco use of any kind, including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco, and snuff, among others.
Heavy Alcohol Use
Previous Oral Cancer diagnosis or family history
History of significant sun exposure, which increases the risk of lip cancer
